EMPLOYEE EVALUATED ANNUALLY
The purpose of the Substitute Teacher is to ensure that in the absence of the regular classroom teacher, students continue to receive a quality education. Provide students with an education in a safe and orderly environment Carry out the classroom teachers lessons to the extent possible Communicate with the building administrator Treat all students with respect Keep assignments and attendance records Be familiar with emergency plans, fire exits and severe weather procedures Arrive to the classroom at least 15 minutes prior to the children arriving Have a minimum of a high school diploma Possess a valid Indiana Substitute Permit Have the empathy, compassion and skills to effectively work with all students Complete a satisfactory interview with the Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent
