Overview Join our dynamic educational team as a Substitute Teacher and ignite a passion for learning in students across various ages. In this vital role, you will step into classrooms to deliver engaging lessons, maintain a positive learning environment, and support student development. Your energy, flexibility, and dedication will help ensure continuity of instruction and foster a nurturing space for children to thrive academically and socially. Duties Implement lesson plans provided by the regular classroom teacher or develop your own based on curriculum guidelines Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management strategies and classroom management techniques Support students' individual needs, including those with disabilities or developmental challenges, by adapting instructional methods accordingly Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for children Assist with classroom activities such as literacy education, math instruction, creative writing, and early childhood development exercises Maintain clear communication with students, staff, and parents regarding student progress and classroom activities Requirements Prior experience working with children in educational settings or childcare environments is preferred Knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques Familiarity with special education practices, including working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities Strong communication skills to effectively engage students and collaborate with staff Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments and teaching styles Experience with early childhood education methods is a plus Demonstrated commitment to fostering an inclusive atmosphere that supports literacy education and creative learning opportunities This position is ideal for passionate educators eager to inspire young minds while gaining diverse classroom experience.
