Summer Camp Counselor

Riviera Kids Club - Torrance, CA Seasonal/Part Time (Summer Only) Riviera Kids Club is looking for an energetic , responsible and reliable Summer Camp Counselor to join our team! This is a seasonal position supporting our elementary age campers through fun, structured, and active summer days. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with kids, enjoys being active, and can confidently help lead a safe and engaging camp environment. Job Responsibilities Supervise and engage campers throughout the day. Lead group activities in dance, art, cooking, science, gardening, gymnastics, yoga, theatre games, sports and more. Maintain a safe and positive camp environment. Assist with transitions, snack/lunch times, and daily schedules. Walk uphill with campers daily to a nearby local park. Communicate professionally with staff and parents as needed. Support behavior management with kindness, structure, and consistency. Requirements Must be 18 years or older to apply. Experience working with children. CPR & First Aid Certification Required. Must be able to stay active and spend long hours on your feet. Responsible, reliable and punctual with excellent time management skills. Must have reliable transportation. Positive attitude and strong communication skills. Background check required. Preferred Qualifications Camp counselor or after-school experience. Teaching, coaching, dance, art or childcare background. Strong leadership and classroom/group management skills. Schedule - Summer Seasonal Position Riviera Kids Club Summer Camp runs for 7 weeks, exact hours will be discussed during interview. Pay:
