Job Overview We are hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) for a residential summer camp in the Red Hook, NY area. This seasonal nursing opportunity offers competitive weekly pay, on-site housing, and the chance to support camper health and safety in a fun, engaging camp environment. Compensation & Schedule Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): $1,250 per week 6 days per week Approximately 8-9 hours per day Room & board included (private, air-conditioned room) Registered Nurse (RN): $1,500 per week 6 days per week Approximately 8-9 hours per day Room & board included (private, air-conditioned room)

Responsibilities:

Administer medications and provide daily nursing care to campers and staff Respond to medical situations, first aid needs, and emergencies Conduct health screenings and monitor ongoing conditions Maintain accurate medical records and documentation Communicate health-related updates with camp leadership and families as needed Support a safe, healthy, and compliant camp environment Collaborate with other nursing staff to ensure consistent coverage

Qualifications:

LPN Requirements Active New York State LPN license CPR certification Current medical compliance documentation Camp, school, or residential healthcare experience preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor setting RN Requirements Active New York State RN license in good standing CPR certification Current medical compliance documentation Previous camp, pediatric, school nursing, or residential healthcare experience preferred Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills Why This Summer Nursing Role?
