Summer Camp Teachers

In this summertime role, you will create a safe, nurturing environment where children can explore new interests, develop essential skills, and build lasting friendships. This lead school-ager qualified position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact while gaining valuable experience in education, childcare, and youth development. We would love to have a student teacher or teacher looking for hire during summer to fill in this role. Responsibilities Plan and implement some age-appropriate activities that promote creativity, teamwork, and personal growth when not on field trips Manage classroom behavior with positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies Ensure the safety and well-being of all children by adhering to health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns that arise during camp hours Maintain organized records of attendance, activities, and incident reports to ensure smooth daily operations Skills Strong classroom management skills to create a structured yet fun learning environment Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development milestones Experience with appropriate credentials is required (lead School-ager qualifications) Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members.

Pay:

$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
