Responsibilities Preparing and cooking meals according to established recipes and menu plans Ensure all food handling and preparation practices meet safety and sanitation standards Manage the kitchen team in food presentation, portioning, and plating to ensure camp standards are held Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts Follow proper food safety procedures during meal preparation and storage Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and high-quality food delivery Qualifications Heart to serve in a Jesus-filled, Christian environment Previous experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is highly desirable Knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques Experience working in fine dining or restaurant environments is a plus Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation methods Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting with attention to detail Culinary experience within the food industry or catering services is advantageous Join us this summer to gain hands-on culinary experience, sharpen your kitchen skills, and be part of a vibrant team committed to excellence.
