Work Location:

Nettle Middle School OR Haverhill High School, depending on intern site placement

Salary:

$1,000 stipend

Organizational Relationship or Line of Authority:

Director/Assistant Director of Out-of-School Time Programming Organizational Relationship

Or Line of Authority:

Education Internship Coordinator, Site Coordinator, After-School Program and Assistant Program Director Statement of Duties:

Mentor HHS Student Education Intern. Meet with HHS Student Education Intern outside of after school program hours to support Student Education Intern with program training plan objectives/goals. Include opportunities for Student Education Intern to work with individual students, small groups and eventually lead a whole class lesson by the end of the program. Assist with evaluation and data collection. Maintain enrollment and attendance records. Responsible for other duties as indicated by directives of the Superintendent of Schools or his/her designees, and policies of the Haverhill School Committee.

Qualifications:

Licensed Teacher by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education

• Required Experience in Discovery Club or Access 21
• Preferred CPR and First Aid Certified Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent of Schools may find appropriate and acceptable.
