Job Description:

Preference will be given to recent high school graduates, college students looking for summer work, and dependents of Crown employees.

Salary:

$20.2874 per hour.

Benefits:

Temporary role, no benefits. This position may require overtime but will typically be Monday thru Friday, 7am-3:30pm with a half hour lunch break.

Primary Functions Include:

Most hires will work as a general shop assistant performing manual labor duties within the plant. Examples of work will include painting, sorting cans, cleaning, moving equipment, inventory, and other duties as required. One position is available that will work in the main office assisting with filing, project planning, cleaning, shredding, and other office duties.

Job Requirements:

Minimum 18 years old High School diploma or G.E.D preferred Must be able to comply with all OSHA and Crown safety rules and regulations Demonstrated strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and with teams Good attendance and punctuality Physical requirements: While performing the duties of this job regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, reach with arms and hands and may be required to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and or crawl Willingness and ability to work at heights as well as climbing stairs Ability and willingness to be able to lift up to 30 pounds Withstand walking/standing on a concrete surface the entire shift Working conditions: While performing the duties of this job, may be exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicular traffic (forklift) May be exposed to a wide range of temperatures The noise level is frequently loud What Crown Offers You Strong engagement and commitment to the safety of our employees The opportunity to build a meaningful career Professional and personal development through training and work experiences Join us and become part of a team of professionals who are passionate about sustainable packaging!
