Job Description

Sequoyah Marina Love the lake lifestyle? Spend your summer at Sequoyah Marina helping showcase one of Norris Lake's favorite boating destinations. This internship offers hands-on experience in marina marketing, guest relations, and event support. Interns will report directly to the Marketing Director and gain educational experience through marketing meetings, campaign planning, social media advertising, branding discussions, and hands-on content development projects.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist with social media posting and content creation
  • Promote marina amenities, boat rentals, and restaurant features
  • Help coordinate events and customer activities
  • Capture photos and videos for digital marketing campaigns
  • Support guest services and marina engagement efforts
  • Learn advertising strategy and hospitality marketing fundamentals

Purpose The purpose of this internship is educational training and professional development. The internship is intended to provide practical learning experience related to the intern's academic studies. 2. No Employment Relationship The intern understands and agrees that: participation is voluntary, and the internship does not create an employment relationship. 3. Academic Credit The intern is participating in connection with an academic program and may receive academic credit subject to school approval. 4. Educational Nature of Internship The company agrees to provide: mentorship, observational learning, supervised training, professional feedback, and educational assignments. 5. No Displacement of Employees The intern will not replace paid employees and will work under supervision for educational purposes. 6. No Guarantee of Employment Completion of the internship does not entitle the intern to employment or future compensation. 7.

Expected Schedule:
6-8 hours a week 8. Confidentiality The intern agrees to maintain confidentiality regarding company information and client materials. 9. Optional Discretionary Stipend Clause The company may, at its sole discretion, provide a voluntary stipend, reimbursement, or completion bonus. Such payment is not guaranteed and is not compensation for hours worked. 10. Acknowledgment By signing below, both parties acknowledge understanding of this educational internship arrangement.
