Credit Recovery Teacher â€" Lewis County High School (Teacher hired contingent upon number of students enrolling in the summer program)

LOCATION

Robert Bland Middle School

CERTIFICATION

Valid WV Teaching Certificate Prior experience preferred

SALARY:

$250.00 per day (The legal holidays of June 20, 2026 and July 4, 2026 are specifically excluded from the term of this contract and will not be compensated, which will observed on June 19, 2026 & July 3, 2026)

TERM:

AS NEEDED

June 12, 2026 â€" July 13, 2026

DUTIES:

1. Plans and uses appropriate instructional strategies, activities, materials, and equipment that reflect understanding of the learning styles and needs of assigned students 2. Maintain positive communication with parents on at least a weekly basis 3. Continuously evaluate the progress of students 4. Teachers will facilitate credit recovery and provide tutoring 5. Teachers will work with students providing a variety of, including but not limited to: CTE exploration, STEAM, project-based learning activities and Arts related activities 6. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisors
