Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced, part-time General Cleaner Supervisor to join our 2nd shift team at Geneva School in Casselberry, FL. This is a leadership role responsible for managing cleaning staff and upholding the cleanliness and sanitation standards of our clients' premises.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruit, hire, train, and supervise cleaning staff; schedule and assign tasks to ensure adequate coverage for all client locations. Clean and sanitize various surfaces including floors, walls, windows, furniture, and fixtures using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment. Dust surfaces, furniture, and equipment thoroughly and polish surfaces to maintain a clean and attractive appearance. Vacuum carpets and rugs; sweep and mop hard surface floors paying attention to corners and hard-to-reach areas. Clean and disinfect restroom fixtures and refill dispensers and supplies as needed. Empty trash receptacles, replace liners, and dispose of waste and recyclables in designated containers. Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and restroom amenities to ensure adequate daily stock. Assist floor technicians in floor care duties such as buffing, waxing, and stripping floors as directed. Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly. Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times.

Qualifications:

Previous supervisory experience in janitorial or facilities management preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and develop a team. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals. Proficient in basic computer applications including email and Microsoft Office. Understanding of safety regulations and procedures. Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented. Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. High school diploma or equivalent required. Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check.
