Job Description:

Develops and executes performance improvement initiatives to enhance security services and outcomes. Addresses customer service issues promptly and efficiently, ensuring the needs of patients, staff, and visitors are met. Monitors and manages the security budget, ensuring expenses are within requirements and resources are used effectively. Oversees operational security, including managing electronic physical security elements such as CCTV, alarms, access control, and radio communication. Identifies and manages risks, implementing security countermeasures and conducting security assessments and annual reviews. Conducts security investigations in a legal and ethical manner, maintaining detailed records and compiling reports for administration and hospital committees. Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Excellent verbal communication skills [Required] Ability to interact with all levels of the organization including physicians and the c-level associates [Required] Ability to interact with law enforcement personnel [Required] Ability to make decisions in high stress, high risk situations [Required] Ability to write clear detailed reports that may be used in court [Required] Ability to interact with violent individuals in a safe manner [Required] Ability to work directly with patients in high stress situations [Required] Ability to supervise employees during high stress, high risk activities [Required] Ability to plan and organize actions to meet objectives and goals of the department [Required]

Bachelor's [Preferred] High School Grad or Equiv [Required]

5+ years of position-related experience [Required] Law Enforcement or Security Experience [Required]
