Job Description

This position supervises and coordinates assigned staff and activities to ensure quality service of the assigned Revenue Cycle department. Ensures exceptional customer service, monitors workload daily, and prioritizes work to meet required turnaround times. Supports the organization in fulfilling the mission, vision and values of Logan Health.

Qualifications:
Minimum of five (5) years' experience within Revenue Cycle in a hospital setting required. Minimum of one (1) year leadership experience required. Promotes excellence through setting high standards and providing high quality outcomes. Ability to act with integrity, kindness and exhibit empathy. Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently. Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining privacy and confidentiality as needed. Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy. Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.
Job Specific Duties:
Under the direction of assigned leadership, provides professional leadership and daily oversight of the assigned area(s). Actively assists in the evaluation, development, implementation, and revision of policies and procedures. Oversees daily routine office operations. Serves as point of contact to assigned area(s). Promotes positive customer relations through prompt and courteous service within a fast-paced, high volume, costumer focused area. Assists leadership in setting annual goals for the department and departmental operations; strives to implement procedures and processes. Maintains a working knowledge of assigned staff functions to assure efficient back up coverage as needed. Serves as a subject matter expert in assigned area within Revenue Cycle. Adheres to the policies, procedures, and goals of the Revenue Cycle department and Logan Health. Leads the hiring process, preparation and delivery of evaluations and corrective actions for assigned staff. Supervisors may be expected to perform the following tasks regularly: Creates work schedule and assigns employees to specific work tasks. Trains and/or coordinates the training of assigned staff. Oversees and coordinates successful completion of employees' competency assessments and required training. Acts as point-of-contact/subject matter expert for assigned staff. Leads and/or coordinates compliance and quality efforts. The above essential functions are representative of major duties of positions in this job classification. Specific duties and responsibilities may vary based upon departmental needs. Other duties may be assigned similar to the above consistent with knowledge, skills and abilities required for the job. Not all of the duties may be assigned to a position. Maintains regular and consistent attendance as scheduled by department leadership.

Schedule:
Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
