About the Job The MRF Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations within a state-of-the-art Materials Recovery Facility (MRF), ensuring optimal production efficiency, cost control, and a strong commitment to safety. This role plays a key part in leading a highly automated recycling operation, leveraging advanced technology to manage and monitor plant performance. The facility is one of the most technologically advanced recycling operations in North America, featuring 90% automated processes, cutting-edge optical sorting technology, and fully integrated systems that enable plant-wide management through tablet-based controls within a modern, state-of-the-art environment. The position works 2nd shift (starting at 1:30 PM), Monday-Friday with rotating Saturdays. Position maybe hired at a level I or Level II based on background and experience. What You'll be Doing Manages daily (plant) operations and maintains inventory for safety and operation supplies. Reviews and evaluates work to ensure quality, timeliness and ensures quality control in adherence to policies and procedures. Manages (plant) logistics and materials; supervises daily production; enters finished goods into inventory; orders supplies as needed. Supervises production staff and coordinates workflow and assignments toward the achievement of operational goals. Oversees operations personnel needs including coaching, training, and evaluating employee performance. Provides input into termination, compensation, and promotion decisions. Investigates, reviews and controls implementation of safety regulations and company policies and procedures. Creates and submits weekly and month end reports to senior management. What does it take to be a Supervisor of Recycling Plant with WM? A. Pay:

The expected base pay range for this office/on-site position is $66,946 - $81,301. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
