Job Title:
Supplier Quality Engineer Job Description Responsibilities Evaluate potential and current suppliers for manufacturing capabilities, quality systems, and performance. Act as a critical link between production, program teams, and suppliers to resolve quality issues. Establish collaborative relationships with internal teams to identify and mitigate production risks. Lead Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) activities, emphasizing quality. Evaluate supplier robustness and validate the effectiveness of their actions. Lead supplier engagement and cadences. Participate in audits and lead the Supplier PPAP process to maintain manufacturing excellence. Essential Skills Bachelor's Degree, preferably in an engineering discipline. 3+ years of experience in Supplier Quality related functions. Experience in supplier quality and root cause analysis. Proficiency in using APQP, PPAP, and CAPA methodologies. Auditing experience withISO 9001, AS9100, ISO
13485 or similar standards. Strong knowledge of corrective action plans, FMEA, and statistical process control. Familiarity with Six Sigma, Lean, or process improvement methodologies. Work Environment The role requires a detail-oriented and proactive approach to ensure the highest quality standards in manufacturing. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering and sourcing, in a collaborative environment. The position may involve travel to supplier sites for audits and assessments. A professional attire is expected when representing the company at supplier locations. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Anoka, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
