Supports Norvado's growing supply chain operations across an expanding geographic footprint. This role focuses on hands-on execution of receiving, inventory control, warehousing, material distribution, and limited purchasing support. The position works under the direction of the Supply Chain Manager and plays a critical role in ensuring materials are accurately received, stored, tracked, and delivered to internal teams and contractors in a timely manner.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Supply Chain Assistant your duties and responsibilities will include:Receiving & Shipment Verification:
Receive supplies at the Cable office and other Norvado locations as required, ensuring all incoming materials are accurately verified against packing slips and bills of lading. Identify, document, and assist in resolving shipment discrepancies in coordination with vendors and the Supply Chain Manager. Accurately receive materials into the inventory management system (iVUE) and store, stage, or distribute supplies in accordance with purchase order instructions and operational needs.Warehouse & Stock Yard Operations:
Maintain warehouse and stock yard locations in accordance with departmental standards, ensuring facilities are organized, clean, safe, and efficient. Organize, optimize, and manage storage and staging areas to support construction, operations, and service activities. Distribute supplies to appropriate stocking or job staging locations and ensure all material handling equipment is organized, safe, and operational.Supply Order Fulfillment & Material Distribution:
Fulfill service orders, internal requests, and contractor material requests in a timely and accurate manner. Coordinate shipments to Norvado locations using UPS, USPS, or freight carriers, prepare outgoing customer and vendor shipments, and provide delivery or shipment tracking information as requested. Deliver supplies to other Norvado locations when required to support operational continuity.Inventory Control & Accuracy:
Monitor inventory levels across warehouse and stock yard locations to ensure materials are properly labeled, identified, and stored. Maintain inventory logs and accuracy standards within iVUE and related tracking tools. Proactively advise the Supply Chain Manager of material shortages, surplus inventory, or potential availability issues.Returns, RMAs & Recycling Support:
Assist with customer returns, vendor RMAs, and the recycling or disposal of obsolete or damaged materials, ensuring proper documentation, material handling, and compliance with established processes.Purchasing Support & Policy Compliance:
Place purchase orders in the absence of the Supply Chain Manager while adhering to established purchasing policies, approval requirements, and documentation standards. Support purchasing activities as needed to ensure continuity of operations and timely material availability.Vision, Values & Compliance:

Other duties may be assigned as required by business necessity.KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- Knowledge and skills that are usually acquired through an associate's degree in supply chain logistics or the equivalent training and job experience.
- Experience with material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack, loading/unloading trucks and trailers).
- Familiarity with inventory or order management systems.
- Computer literacy including working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint).

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
Standard warehouse environment with exposure to outside weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, risk of electrical shock, moderate noise levels, and frequent vehicular travel. Frequent maneuvering and manipulation of parts and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.EQUIPMENT & TOOLS
- Daily use of computers, telephones, smart devices, and printers.
- Must be able to operate a forklift, pallet jack, carts, and small hand tools.
CUSTOMER SERVICE/INTERACTION
- Daily interaction with employees across departments and product delivery trucking employees.
- Occasional communication with vendors, distributors, and third-party partners. OTHER
- Frequent travel by vehicle required.
- Overtime as required.
Pay:
$19.00 - $30.00 per hourBenefits:
