Supply Room Attnd - 2nd Shift - Tecumseh, NE

$18.65/hr

HOURS:

2:30 pm. - upon completion of assigned work; Monday-Friday; hours may vary

SUMMARY:

Responsible for the supply ordering process and inventory management as well as directing the work of the housekeeping associates.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES

• Track inventory of production and packaging supplies
• Order and receive supplies.
• Monitor and direct all work of housekeeping staff.
• Train and coach housekeeping team members
• Perform inspections and audits of department area to ensure associates are performing in accordance to standards and SOP's.
• Operate pallet jacks to move pallets of supplies
• Other specific duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to carry out essential duties and responsibilities efficiently, within safety guidelines
• Proficient computer skills; MS Word, Excel Database, and e-mail
• Proven leadership skills with excellent attention to detail
• Highly motivated self-starter; eager to initiate new ideas.
• Organizational skills
• Willingness to work overtime as required.

Frequently (1-10 lbs.), Occasionally (up to 35-50 lbs.)

Other Physical Requirements:

o Occasionally, bend/stop, squat, crawl, climb, reach above shoulder (up to 2 ft.), crouch, kneel, push/pull, work around moving machinery in areas with marked changes in temperature and humidity, exposure to dust and fumes.

Rehire Consideration:

Max of two previous Tyson Employments to be considered for hire. 90 days (3 months) waiting period.
