Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent Experience as a Surgical Technologist, either certified or non-certified, or background as an Operating Room Technician (ORT) Familiarity with sterile technique and surgical instrumentation Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational abilities Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic surgical setting

Schedule:

Variable shift schedule based on surgical needs

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain operating rooms, ensuring all equipment and instruments are properly sterilized and available Anticipate the needs of the surgical team during procedures to support optimal patient outcomes Assist surgeons by passing instruments and supplies, handling specimens, and helping with dressing wounds Collaborate with circulating nurses and other team members to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency Maintain detailed and accurate records related to surgical procedures and instrumentation Adhere to safety and infection control policies at all times
