Seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist for a contract assignment in Decorah, IA. This day-shift position begins ASAP and follows a 7:00 AM-3:30 PM schedule (36 hours/week).

Compensation:

$1,750 per 36-hour week.

Core responsibilities:

Set up operating rooms and sterile instrument trays for procedures. Assist surgeons and nursing staff by passing instruments and maintaining sterile technique. Monitor and verify proper function of surgical equipment. Perform and document accurate counts of instruments, sponges, and supplies. Record procedural details and communicate effectively with the perioperative team.

Qualifications:

Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred. Prior perioperative or surgical experience preferred. Strong attention to detail, organization, and teamwork skills. BLS certification preferred.
