Job Description

Surgical Technologist Trainee The Surgical Technologist Trainee is a person who through an on the job training program and completion of pre-requisites, develops the academic and clinical requirements to function as a member of the surgical team and reports to a registered nurse. Utilizes equipment and technology skillfully and strives to be technically competent in surgical procedures in the role of a Surgical Technologist. In addition, this person must be knowledgeable of critical functions of the department and must strictly adhere to Infection Control and Universal Precaution policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Education:
Completion of or currently enrolled in Medical Terminology Anatomy and Physiology 1
Experience:
Currently employed, in good standing at TidalHealth
