Survey and Civil Engineering CAD Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled CAD Drafting Technician to join our dynamic team. Nelke, Constantine is a small busy surveying and civil engineering firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and modifying technical drawings and schematics using CAD software. This role requires a strong understanding of design principles and the ability to work collaboratively with engineers and architects to bring projects from concept to completion. Responsibilities Develop and produce detailed 2D CAD drawings. Collaborate with project teams to understand design requirements and specifications. Utilize software such as AutoCAD, to draft surveys, plot plans and foundation designs. Make modifications to existing drawings based on feedback from engineers or project managers. Maintain organized records of all drawings and revisions for future reference. Skills Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD. Strong ability to create detailed schematics and technical drawings. Experience with preparing Surveys from field data is required. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of building codes and regulations related to design projects is advantageous.
