Job Description:

Survey Party Chief We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Survey Party Chief to join our team for projects in the Daytona Beach, Florida and surrounding areas. In this role, you will lead a survey field crew and oversee day-to-day field operations to support a variety of design, mapping, and construction projects. Your responsibilities will include planning and executing field work, operating and verifying survey equipment, collecting accurate field data, and coordinating with project managers to ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and on schedule. Responsibilities:

Lead a survey field crew and manage daily field activities for assigned projects. Operate survey instruments, such as total stations, GPS, and levels, ensuring accurate setup and use. Collect, document, and verify field data to ensure accuracy and completeness. Perform field calculations, maintain field notes, and ensure required documentation is properly completed. Maintain and troubleshoot survey equipment as needed. Support the team in adhering to project specifications, safety standards, and schedules. Communicate effectively with team members, clients (as needed), and project managers.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent 3+ years experience in land surveying, including experience leading a field crew (Party Chief or equivalent) Proficiency with survey equipment and technology. Located in the Daytona Beach, Florida area Physical ability to work outdoors in varying conditions. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Ability to pass pre-employment drug screenings. Willingness to work weekends and travel overnight as needed.
