Full-Time Position Scope:

We are looking for a precision-oriented Surveyor to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring that our bridge girders and structural steel components meet exact specifications during the fabrication and pre-assembly phases. You will be responsible for providing accurate measurements and data to ensure the structural integrity and fit of complex bridge projects. Primary Responsibilities Perform precise layout and as-built surveys for structural steel bridge girders. Utilize Trimble RTS Series Robotic Total Stations to gather data and verify tolerances. Collaborate with the fabrication and quality control teams to ensure all components align with engineering blueprints. Conduct calculations and maintain detailed field notes and electronic data files. Perform work primarily in an outdoor fabrication yard environment. Travel via air or road to project sites or other facilities as required.

Qualifications & Requirements Experience:

5+ years of related experience as a surveyor in the Steel Industry OR 5+ years of experience in construction surveying.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in operating Trimble RTS Series Robotic Total Stations is required.

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Licensing:

Must possess a valid driver's license and maintained an acceptable driving record for insurance purposes.

Physical Environment:

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and travel as needed.
