Duties Prepare a variety of sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese-inspired dishes with precision and artistry Maintain the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness, and hygiene in the kitchen Source fresh ingredients daily and manage inventory to minimize waste Develop innovative sushi recipes and presentation styles to delight guests Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service Educate junior staff on sushi preparation techniques and culinary best practices Assist in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere by engaging positively with guests when appropriate Qualifications Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or similar culinary role specializing in Japanese cuisine Strong knowledge of sushi preparation techniques, knife skills, and ingredient handling Familiarity with food safety regulations and sanitation standards Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Creative mindset with an eye for presentation and aesthetic appeal Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team Passion for culinary arts, especially sushi-making, with a desire to learn and innovate Join us if you're eager to elevate your sushi skills in a lively setting where your craftsmanship makes a real difference!
