What You'll Be Doing:

Teach swim lessons to kids and adults of all skill levels Create a fun, safe, and encouraging environment during every class Make sure all safety rules are followed in and around the pool Build positive relationships with swimmers and their families Set up and put away equipment before and after lessons Take the lead during class and keep things organized and running smoothly Be a role model and represent the YMCA values every day Why This Job is

What We're Looking For:

At least 15 years old Positive, energetic, and comfortable leading a group Responsible, dependable, and ready to take initiative Passion for working with kids and people from all backgrounds Able to stay patient, encouraging, and focused

Qualifications Requirements:

Current YMCA or American Red Cross certifications: CPR/AED First Aid Oxygen Willing to attend trainings and team meetings Ability to show up early and be prepared to teach
