Job Description:

HICO America, with headquarters in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and facilities in Los Angeles and Greensburg, PA, is part of the Power Systems business unit, in the Industrial Performance Group of the Hyosung Corporation , a publicly traded conglomerate based in Seoul, South Korea. HICO is an ISO 9001 and 14001 certified company, with primary business in power system products. Our goal remains to Power the Success of our customers' projects, doing our part & contributing by bringing projects online on-time, and exceeding expectations of quality and service. The Switchgear Solutions Coordinator is responsible for assisting Project Manager's with multiple projects. We are looking for someone with strong communication skills, project coordination or management experience, and top-notch organization skills. Essential Duties are the following but not limited to: Support and manage the execution of our GIS project portfolio. Maintain schedule and ensure customer specification is maintained. Ensure HICO profit margin is protected and where applicable increased. Visit customer project sites to ensure the GIS execution plan is feasible based on- site conditions. Main facilitator between HICO internal departments of engineering, procurement, and sales. Manage subcontractors and suppliers and ensure quotations provide the most value for HICO. Participation in helping Project Manager's with additional tasks as needed

Requirements and Desired Skills:

Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or will consider equivalent work experience. Developed verbal and written communication skills. Computer literate, emphasizing MS Office products, Microsoft Project, and SAP. Experience / exposure to transmission and distribution switch gear highly desirable Basic understanding of Mechanical / Electrical drawings Mechanical / Electrical background and aptitude. Excellent communicator, comfortable managing multiple tasks. Ability to work as part of a large team with a problem-solving aptitude. Able to coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors/ processes for the execution of complex projects.

Knowledge / Exposure

to file sharing software packages Ability to create spreadsheets and schedules utilizing various software platforms. Lead and participate in virtual meetings as well as on site meetings relating to project execution. Willing to travel up to 10%.
