Retail Merchandiser (Part-Time)

Part-time merchandiser will service the Youngwood, PA area for Flowers Baking Company. (Must have a flexible schedule) This position requires merchandising stores on Sundays, Wednesdays, and holidays are needed. You may also be required to assist with resets, display building, etc. on other days. The merchandiser position is a steppingstone position that often leads to a full-time Route Sales Driver position.

Merchandiser Pay:

$17.00/hour + Mileage reimbursement (weekly pay)

MERCHANDISER RESPONSIBILITES

Merchandise, stock, and rotate bread and cake products on a company assigned restock route at various retail partners. Adhere to the stop sequence, and established service times to drive efficiency and to ensure continued customer satisfaction and consistent service times Adhere to the fresh market policy by appropriately rotating product. Always ensure shelf life is maximized with proper rotation of products Adhere to required customer shelf schematic/plan-o-gram to ensure customer compliance Restock and straighten out shelves and displays at each service Check in and communicate with store management at each visit Establish and maintain a sound, professional working relationship with key personnel Maintain a professional appearance Maintain cleanliness of an organized workspace Ensure compliance with all Company Policies and Procedures.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma or equivalent Possess a valid driver's license, a safe driving record and have or obtain a reliable means of transportation to and from stores Must be customer oriented with the ability to provide an extraordinary level of customer service and solve customer issues as they occur. Ability to work various hours and days of the week, and potentially some holidays - ( hours are based on client needs) Must be able to regularly lift and carry products weight up to 50 lbs. as well as the ability to push/pull up to 100 lbs.
