01 Tasks and responsibilities The system architect defines the target architecture for a banking application/functional area and ensures it is fit for its intended purpose while being compliant with architecture standards The system architect is responsible for all applications across the full lifecycle in his area and looks at all aspects from business architecture down to infrastructure architecture Collaborate with product management and key stakeholders to understand and shape the business vision/architecture and collaborate on their impact on architectural blueprints/runways Responsible for the architectural design within a defined scope (e.g.: domain) Work with product manager and product owner to establish high-level solution intent (aka blueprint) incl. roadmap, the solution intent information models and documentation requirements. Identify enabler epics (initiatives, stories) and make dependencies transparent Define subsystems and their interfaces; allocate responsibilities to subsystems, understand solution deployment and communicate requirements for interactions with solution context Plan and develop the architectural runway for his system in support of new business features and capabilities, the technical vision and the blueprint and supports the teams in the technical designs Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture standards and sustainability of the system In case an exception is needed, responsible to prepare options and request exception Responsible for application lifecycle and overall reduction of architecture debt. Communicate these transparently and protect applications/platforms from too many debts Work with the other system architects, shared services, system team and the enterprise architect to define the architectural approach, capability roadmap Contribute to the QBR process and high-level objectives for the upcoming PI planning (enablers) Help summarising findings into an agreed-to set of solution PI objectives and validate alignment of the various technical directions Help the teams to define features and break them down into stories Identify risks regarding the deviation of standards and innovation. Connect with discipline architects to address identified issues and contribute to bank-wide solutions Work with stakeholders, customers and suppliers to align the architectural direction with the system intent Work with suppliers, making sure the technical characteristics for supplier-delivered capabilities are understood and assisting with the architectural integration of these concerns 02 Must-have criteria BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and proven working experience as an architect in the information technology and/ or finance sector Good knowledge of wealth management business and at least several banking products and services with at least 5 years of experience in a European private bank Good understanding of the regulatory framework in the banking industry and standard processing of financial services following common governance rules Strong experience with Temenos Banking software (Transact and/or Triple'A) is required Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, SharePoint, JIRA and standard architecture tools like "Enterprise Architect" and certified methodologies Analytical and critical mindset, risk awareness 03 Nice-to-have criteria Further experience in other standard banking products might be considered as an advantage German, French & any additional language skills are considered as advantage 04 Contract duration Until 30.04.2027 with option of extension 05 Language requirements English Business fluent, native language (C1/2) 06 Application form
