Table Games Dealer Class - Hochatown, OK 9-Week course - designed to develop the skillsets necessary for dealing Table Games (Blackjack, Ultimate Texas Hold 'EM, Three Card Poker, Roulette)
Training Pay:
$10.00 Hourly Rate while in training / $8/hour + tips (Average Tips $30.26/hour) Once on the gaming floor Class details: Each selected applicant will attend class, gaining skill sets necessary to operate tables on the gaming floor.Start Date :

General Class Information Selected applicants will be hired and required to attend the 9 weeks of class. Each student will be required to pass physical and written skills test for each module of the class. Each student will have two attempts to pass each test. Failure to pass either a written or physical test may result in reevaluation of class participation. Upon successful completion of the course, applicants will be able to select/bid from available dealer schedules. Applicants must attend every class and conduct themselves in a professional manner. Course Outline Weeks 1 and 2 : Class subjects: Training provided for the fundamental skill sets of Blackjack Shuffle basics Cheque handling Hand Recognition Card Placement Blackjack Payouts Exams Week 1 Blackjack Vocabulary Exam Beginning of Week 2 Blackjack Payout Quiz End of Week 2 Blackjack Payout Exam Opening/Closing Procedures of the game Week 3 Class Subjects Freebet Blackjack Double Down Madness Blackjack Auditions - Final Exams on Blackjack derivative games Week 4 Class Subject Roulette Introduction of pushing chips Introduction of the mechanics of the wheel and ball Week 5 Class Subject Roulette Introduction to ante collection Introduction to Outside bets and Inside Bets Week 6 Class Subject Roulette Introduction to Totaling Exams Roulette Final Exam Week 7 Class Subject Ultimate Texas Hold'em Identifying poker hands Introduction to Ultimate Texas Hold'em Ultimate Texas Hold'em Exam Week 8 Class Subject Three Card Poker Introduction of Three Card Poker Three Card Poker Exam Final Audition Week 9 Class Subject Interblock Craps Review of all previous subjects Course outline is subject to change based upon training needs.Table Games Dealer Job Description Primary Tasks:
Serve and entertain Guests while enforcing the rules and maintaining the integrity of the game. Analyze customer play, protecting against cheating scams, and unusual or suspicious variations of play. Review and communicate table game activities with supervisors and managers. Answer Guest inquiries regarding general gaming procedures, payouts, etc. Clean work area as designated by management Verify identification of customers when needed. Sign and date all paperwork as required. Provide excellent customer service skills and communication skills. Other duties as may be assigned.Required Education, Skills and Experience:
MINIMUM Apply basic math (arithmetic, ratios, proportions, or conversions) Apply oral or written communication techniques. Must be highly customer focused and maintain a positive atmosphere and be friendly and informative as needed. Strong hand-eye coordination- Experience handling large volumes of cash

Training and Testing:
You will go through a structured training program that includes: a training phase (12 to 15 weeks), a mid-program assessment where you will undergo a practical skills evaluation and testing, and a final evaluation which involves a practical dealing test (audition) before a panel of experienced piers within the table games department. 9.
