Position Overview At Foundation Building Materials (FBM), people are our strength—and we're looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist who knows how to find the best. From sourcing and screening to interviewing and onboarding, you'll be the driving force behind building strong, capable teams that support our growing operations. Responsibilities and Qualifications:
Key Responsibilities Candidate Sourcing & Recruitment Proactively source and recruit candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals Screen resumes, conduct phone screenings, and interview candidates to assess qualifications, skills, and cultural fit Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and stakeholders, providing guidance and support throughout the interview process Talent Pipeline Management Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs within the defined geography Develop and nurture relationships with passive candidates and industry professionals to expand the talent network Employer Branding & Recruitment Marketing Represent Foundation Building Materials as an employer of choice by promoting our company culture, values, and career opportunities Develop and implement recruitment marketing strategies to attract and engage candidates, including job postings, social media, employer branding initiatives, and participation in external events (i.e. Career Fairs) Candidate Experience & Onboarding Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, from initial contact to onboarding Provide timely and transparent communication to candidates regarding their application status, interview feedback, and next steps Collaborate with hiring managers, HR colleagues and Department Heads to facilitate a seamless onboarding experience for new hires Data Management Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment data in the applicant tracking system (ATS), including candidate profiles, interview feedback, and hiring metrics Miscellaneous Support our values in the stand areas of Safety, Customer Focus, Teamwork, Integrity and being a Company of Choice for both employees and customers Other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred 3+ years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition, with a focus on high-volume recruitment and branch operations Strong sourcing and networking skills, with the ability to identify and engage passive candidates Knowledge of recruitment best practices, including sourcing strategies, candidate assessment techniques, and employment laws Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software; Ceridian Dayforce a plus Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Experience supporting field operations or branch locations is a plus
Compensation and Benefits:
Reports To Sr. Manager of Talent Acquisition Compensation The listed pay range reflects the expected base rate for this position; actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and cost of living in the assigned market. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

$30-$40 per hour
