Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
The Talent Development Manager is responsible for leading the development and implementation of development strategies across the organization. The manager will play a key role in ensuring the learning solutions created are implemented in a fashion that is timely, relevant and enhances the professional and technical capabilities of our organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Steward our mission (to enrich lives by providing differentiated packaging automation and services) and values (unwavering integrity, servant's heart, ownership spirit and continuous innovation and improvement).Model and champion our leadership qualities (live Douglas values, chart the course, energize others and raise the bar). Develop best practice systems, processes and tools to support employee development initiatives.

Lead the coordination, prioritization and implementation of development initiatives across the organization.

Responsible for training center strategies and oversight.

Lead and drive continuous improvement for the leadership program continuum including but not limited to; New Leader Assimilation, Leadership Academy, and Leadership Excellence.

Develop and deliver projects to drive customer service excellence.

Facilitate learning and development that achieves organizational objectives and goals.

Lead and support culture initiatives.

Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

Training process and instructional design experienceExcellent leadership qualities, organizational and managerial skills.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, persuasive, and negotiation skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in business, organizational development or leadership.

Minimum of five years of experience in training or organizational development. Minimum of three years of successful leadership experience.
