Job Description

Our Story For 25 years Vertical Earth has established our company as a Builder, not only building successful projects and solutions, but also trust with our clients and rewarding careers for our employees. While the early years of Vertical Earth were focused primarily on civil structures and retaining walls, we've grown into a turn-key provider of sitework and road construction services. Being purposefully diverse adds to the long-term strength of the company and will remain an asset as we continue to grow. Job Description The primary role is to safely and efficiently transport and dump loose materials (such as asphalt or dirt) to and from job sites and projects as required. Other tasks such as loading, operating, and daily routine maintenance of the truck, etc. are expected of the driver. Truck drivers are required to maintain a valid commercial driver's license and DOT medical card. Job duties are continually changing depending on the requirements of each project. The position consists of but is not limited to the following duties: Deliver materials to the job sites in a safe and timely fashion Load and unload materials and supplies Operate all equipment required to load for transportation Observe safety codes at all times Report injuries and equipment damage to management Follow legal requirements when operating equipment and trucks May be required to do general office work, shop work, or housekeeping Qualifications Ability to do physical labor and tasks A valid CDL Class B license Ability to work effectively as a member of a team Ability to follow guidance and instructions Ability to work extended hours and some weekends Ability to work in extreme weather conditions Ability to drive manual transmission preferred but not required Must be at least 21 years old + The driver is required to maintain a valid class B Commercial Driver's License and DOT medical card. Must perform daily maintenance checks and report any mechanical or safety issues to a supervisor. The job duties described herein are not exhaustive and may be supplemented.
