About Us We're a community‑driven, dog‑friendly taproom with a simple, high‑margin menu (hot dogs, paninis, pretzels, nachos) and an international theme. We host events, keep operations simple, and focus on great service — not restaurant chaos. What You'll Do Bartend during peak hours Lead and train bartenders Manage scheduling, inventory, and ordering Run weekly events (trivia, dog nights, international beer nights) Maintain a clean, smooth, welcoming taproom Work with ownership on promotions and community engagement What We Offer $65k

This hands-on role requires a dynamic leader who thrives in a fast-paced, casual dining setting and is passionate about creating memorable experiences for guests. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, manage staff, ensure excellent customer service, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere that celebrates community engagement. With a focus on simplicity and quality, you will be instrumental in delivering a seamless, enjoyable experience for all visitors while maintaining efficient food and beverage operations. Duties Lead daily taproom operations, ensuring smooth service and high standards of hospitality Supervise and train staff on food preparation, customer service, POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS), and food safety protocols Manage inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and waste reduction to optimize profitability Oversee cash handling procedures, including balancing registers and preparing deposits Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to food handling and kitchen management Coordinate with kitchen staff to maintain a simple menu focused on quality ingredients and efficient preparation Foster a welcoming community atmosphere by engaging with guests and encouraging repeat visits Handle shift management, including scheduling staff coverage during peak hours and managing performance issues Conduct staff interviews, onboarding, ongoing training & development to build a motivated team Monitor food production processes to uphold standards of cleanliness, safety, and quality in line with food industry best practices Skills Proven experience in food service management within quick service & fast food restaurant environments or casual dining settings Strong background in supervising teams, training staff, and managing restaurant operations Expertise in POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transactions Knowledge of inventory control, food safety standards, and kitchen management practices Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create an engaging community-focused environment Skilled in cash handling, budgeting, and shift management to ensure operational efficiency Experience with food preparation, cooking techniques, and maintaining a simple yet appealing menu Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail Join us as our Taproom Manager to lead a lively space where community connection meets exceptional hospitality.
