Job Description
Business Administrator Grade 2 (£24,796
- 25,185) Permanent
- Full Time
- Term Time 8:30am-4:30pm Mon-Thurs 8:30am-4:00pm Friday Required to start as soon as possible The Governing Body wishes to appoint an enthusiastic Business Administrator to join our busy office team.
The successful candidate should possess:
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
- Good computer skills (Microsoft Word, Office 365, Publisher and Excel).
- The ability to work in a busy office environment, with the skills to organise, prioritise and deal with multiple tasks whilst meeting deadlines.
- Good organisational skills. Key duties and responsibilities will include:
- Being a first point of contact for the school, welcoming visitors and parents/carers and answering telephone calls.
- Working as part of a team to achieve the best for our children and their families and the school community.
- Providing clerical and administration support to all staff and pupils to ensure the smooth running of the school.
- Number of 'teaching' weeks
- 38 weeks; plus
- Public (bank) holidays
- 1.6 weeks (8 days); plus
- Individual leave entitlement

For example:
Calculation for employees with less than 5 years' service: 38 weeks (term time) + 27 days (annual leave) + 8 days (public holidays) = 45 weeks' pay, to be paid in 12 equal monthly instalments Calculation for employees with more than 5 years' service: 38 weeks (term time) + 32 days (annual leave) + 8 days (public holidays) = 46 weeks' pay, to be paid in 12 equal monthly instalments We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and, if successful, you will need to apply for an enhanced DBS disclosure.
