Role Overview:

The Tax Accountant will work across multiple client engagements, including tax and accounting. Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting; Master's degree in Taxation, a plus. Minimum two years in public accounting. Must be proficient in preparing individual 1040 tax returns. Must be proficient in preparing all business tax returns including 1065, 1120S, and 1120 tax returns. Proficiency in using QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks desktop versions. Proficiency Accounting/Tax Software (Lacerte a plus), and MS Office products. Proficiency in using QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks desktop versions. Excellent at time management and organization. Able to produce high quality work in a timely manner. Have the utmost attention to detail and client service. Professional, energetic, and flexible. Very strong communication skills and comfortable communicating with clients.

Prepare work papers, trial balances and depreciation schedules as well as account analysis and worksheets. Prepare business and individual tax returns. Conduct tax planning and research for high-net-worth individuals and closely held businesses. Assist clients with business consulting matters including entity selection, succession planning. Stay updated on technical accounting standards and changes in tax regulations.
