Job Description:

A large, privately held organization with a nationwide footprint is seeking a Tax Manager to oversee federal, state, and local tax compliance while leading and developing a growing tax function. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional who enjoys both technical depth and people leadership in a complex, multi-entity environment. Responsibilities Manage federal income tax returns in partnership with a Big 4 firm, including detailed book-to-tax adjustments and tax depreciation. Prepare and file state and local income/franchise tax returns and manage multi-state apportionment. Oversee sales & use tax compliance and business license requirements across multiple jurisdictions. Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of two junior tax professionals. Drive process improvements and support tax audits and notices.
