Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Preparer to join our CPA firm. The role involves preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns, including S Corporations, C Corporations, and LLCs, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and supporting clients with tax-related inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare federal and state tax returns (individuals, partnerships, S Corps, C Corps, and LLCs) Analyze financial records and identify tax-saving opportunities Ensure accuracy and compliance with current tax laws Communicate with clients to gather required information Assist with tax planning and projections Respond to IRS and state notices as needed

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field 3+ years of tax preparation experience in a CPA firm Experience preparing returns for S Corporations, C Corporations, and LLCs Proficiency in tax software (e.g., Lacerte) and QuickBooks Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication skills
