• Immediate Opening Well established Public Accounting firm in Oak Brook, IL looking to fill a position responsible for a wide range of public accounting and tax services.

Candidate must be able to handle multiple clients simultaneously with attention to detailed accuracy and ability to meet deadlines.

Required experience:

Two-year minimum experience in preparing and filing 1040 income tax returns. Experience preparing forms 1041, 1120, 1120-S, 1065 and returns also required. Pro-Series tool expertise is a MUST. Self-motivated with tax experience requiring minimum to no supervision Ensure compliance with all national and local laws by accurately determining the tax amounts due and preparing and filing annual returns. Keep tax liability at a minimum by leveraging deductions and exemptions and applying high-level knowledge of tax laws. Maintain up to date, accurate, comprehensive tax records and financial data. Meet strict deadlines to avoid late fees and penalties. Must have a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations and be able to communicate those concepts. Exceptional ability in identifying and utilizing resources for self-development. Accounting and bookkeeping skills with attention to detail. Currently an Enrolled Agent (EA), federally-credentialed tax practitioner is a plus Pay commensurate with education, experience, and licensing.
