Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teacher Aide to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing a supportive and enriching learning environment for students, particularly in a private school setting. This role is crucial in helping students achieve their academic goals while fostering their social and emotional development. The Teacher Aide will work closely with the lead teachers, supporting curriculum implementation and classroom management. Duties Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities. Support students with special education needs, employing effective behavior management strategies. Help develop and adapt curriculum materials to meet diverse learning styles. Facilitate small group instruction and provide one-on-one support to students as needed. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the lead teacher regarding individual student needs. Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Engage in literacy education initiatives, promoting reading and writing skills among students. Skills Experience working with students in a classroom setting. Familiarity with curriculum development and lesson planning processes. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff. Ability to foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their academic growth and personal development. Understanding of literacy education strategies to enhance student learning outcomes. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
Pay:
From $16.00 per hour
