Teacher Aide

Responsibilities Assist classroom teachers with lesson planning and implementing curriculum tailored to diverse student needs, including literacy, math, and early childhood education strategies Support children's social-emotional development through positive behavior management and classroom management techniques Provide one-on-one assistance to students with disabilities or special needs, including those with autism or other developmental challenges Help supervise children during activities, meals, recess, and nap times to ensure safety and engagement Support classroom organization by preparing materials, setting up learning stations, and maintaining a clean environment Collaborate with teachers to monitor student progress and adapt instructional approaches accordingly Engage in ongoing communication with staff and parents to promote consistent support for each child's growth and well-being Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is highly desirable Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Experience with classroom management techniques that foster positive behavior and inclusive environments Familiarity with curriculum development for preschool or Montessori programs is a plus Hands-on experience supporting students with disabilities or working with individuals on the autism spectrum is beneficial Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and students Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment dedicated to child care and education excellence This role is ideal for passionate individuals eager to grow their career in education while making a lasting impact on young learners.
