Join our dynamic educational team as a Teacher Assistant for the 2026-2027 School Year! In this vital role, you will support classroom teachers in delivering engaging, inclusive, and effective instruction to students with diverse learning needs. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a positive learning environment where children can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact during the summer months while gaining valuable experience in education and child development. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing lesson plans across subjects such as literacy education, math, and early childhood education. Support classroom management by fostering a respectful, safe, and engaging environment for children with varying abilities. Provide individualized attention to students with disabilities or special needs, including those with autism or behavioral challenges. Help prepare instructional materials and classroom activities aligned with curriculum development goals. Support children's social-emotional growth through positive behavior management and effective communication skills. Supervise children during classroom activities, recess, lunch, and transitions to ensure safety and well-being. Collaborate with teachers and specialists to monitor student progress and adapt strategies as needed for success. Experience Prior classroom experience working with children in early childhood or preschool settings is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in childcare or daycare environments. Experience supporting students with disabilities or special needs, including working with individuals with autism. Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with educators, parents, and students. Previous experience in private schools or Montessori settings is a plus. Ability to work effectively with children of various ages, including toddlers and preschoolers, demonstrating patience and adaptability.
