Job Description

This is a non-exempt on-site role, located at our New Providence CBO location.
Compensation Range:
$18.00
  • 29.
76/hr (Dependent on Experience) The Accounts Payable Specialist supports all aspects of accounts payable, ensuring that all deadlines are met with the highest degree of accuracy.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to
  • Process weekly check run
  • Process refunds for all patient and insurance carriers
  • Posting of Management Amex Cards
  • Post Physician ACH Car Note payments
  • Ensure payment of "other drugs'' from accounting manager and provide schedule of payment to accounting clerk
  • Upload for Positive Pay & Submit to Controller
  • Review uncashed checks on bank reconciliation report monthly and investigate
  • Ensure timely month end close of Accounts Payable Department
  • Backfill the Accounts Payables function in the absence of Accounts Payable Clerk
  • Process 1099's and review annual 1099's reporting
  • Assist in scanning documents into MS Business Central
  • Assist in ensuring the timely and accurate filing of all Accounts Payables Documents
  • Reconcile vendor statements and maintain accurate vendor ledger. Research and correct discrepancies.
  • Maintain Vendor Contracts
  • Maintain online AP accounts and passwords
  • Review online AP accounts and passwords
  • Create AP close
  • Keep track of all checks
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Manager
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED). Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline preferred.
Experience:
3+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
