Send job Job Details Job DescriptionJob Description Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a positive impact this summer by providing vital support as a paraprofessional in special education settings. Multiple contract positions are available across two specialized learning centers for the Extended School Year (ESY) program, serving students in the Hanover, PA area. Staff inservice takes place on July 7, 2026, with instructional days scheduled from July 8 through July 30, Monday to Thursday. Choose between two locations with convenient morning schedules: one offering hours from 8:15 am to 11:45 am and another from 8:45 am to 12:15 pm. Your role will contribute to an inclusive, supportive environment that empowers students to achieve their full potential during the ESY session.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Prior experience as a paraprofessional or PCA in an educational or special education setting preferred Active PA School Clearances dated within one year of assignment start Collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively under the direction of special education staff Strong communication and organizational abilities Reliability and a compassionate, student-centered approach
Role Responsibilities:
Support students with a range of abilities, delivering individualized assistance inside and outside the classroom Implement instructional strategies under the supervision of certified staff Monitor student progress and contribute to data collection as needed Assist with classroom routines, transitions, and personal care tasks, as required
