Job Description

Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Make a lasting impact supporting students in an educational setting as a paraprofessional on a contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with dedicated educators and help guide student success in a dynamic, rewarding environment.
Key Qualifications:
Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a related support role in schools Ability to work effectively alongside teachers, therapists, and other team members Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both students and adults Compassion, patience, and adaptability when working with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certification in education is a plus Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding school policies
Primary Responsibilities:
Support classroom instruction and assist lead teachers in implementing lessons and activities Provide individualized or small group assistance to students as directed Assist with behavior management, helping students stay engaged and focused Prepare and organize materials for classroom use Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment Supervise students in classroom, hallways, and during transitional periods Maintain accurate documentation and communicate observations to teaching staff
