Middle School Teacher (2026-2027 School Year) St. Paul Lutheran School - Millington, MI St. Paul Lutheran School is seeking a dedicated, engaging, and caring 7-8th Grade Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year . We are looking for an educator who is passionate about supporting students during this important academic transition year within a Christ-centered, supportive school community . Position Summary The 7-8th Grade Teacher is responsible for providing high-quality instruction that promotes academic growth, responsibility, and spiritual development. The ideal candidate fosters strong foundational skills, encourages independence, and partners closely with families and colleagues. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with curriculum standards Support student growth in reading, writing, math, and critical thinking skills Create a positive, structured classroom environment that promotes responsibility and respect Integrate Christian values into daily instruction and classroom culture Monitor and assess student progress and maintain accurate academic records Communicate regularly and effectively with parents, staff, and administration Participate in chapel, faculty meetings, professional development, and school events Support and uphold the mission and values of St. Paul Lutheran School Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Valid Michigan teaching certification (or ability to obtain) Experience in upper elementary education preferred Strong classroom management and communication skills Willingness to support and participate in the faith life of the school community Experience in a faith-based school setting is a plus Why Work at St. Paul Lutheran School?
