Job Description

Bachelor's degree in Education, valid state Teaching license or certification, and 1+ years Teaching experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Key Qualifications:
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Physics Successful completion of Praxis II test #5266 Current South Carolina Educator Teaching Certification in Secondary Physics or Science, including an AP endorsement Professional Certification Endorsement (30-hour training) preferred; candidates with all other qualifications will also be considered Experience teaching general education or AP Physics strongly preferred Ability to foster curiosity, critical thinking, and academic growth among diverse learners
Primary Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging physics lessons for general and AP students Develop curriculum materials and assessments aligned with state and AP standards Foster a positive and inclusive classroom climate conducive to student success Monitor, evaluate, and support student progress with timely feedback Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and families to ensure holistic student development Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events This assignment is full-time (37.5 hours per week) for one academic year, giving you the platform to share your expertise in a highly regarded academic setting.
