Teacher - Special Education

We are seeking a full-time teacher for our special education program. The ideal candidate will have experience in adaptive teaching methods and a passion for working with children with special needs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Utilize adaptive teaching methods to accommodate varying learning styles and abilities
• Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to ensure a cohesive and inclusive learning environment
• Monitor and track student progress, adjusting teaching methods and strategies as needed
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and progress
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns
• Attend and participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in special education

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience working with children with special needs and implementing adaptive teaching methods
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and support staff
• Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and the special education process
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and growth in the field of special education.
