Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our educational community for the 2026-2027 school year. This vital role involves supporting classroom teachers in delivering engaging, inclusive, and effective instruction across a variety of grade levels. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key part in fostering a positive learning environment that promotes student growth, development, and success. Your energy, compassion, and commitment to education will help inspire young learners and support their individual needs. Duties Assist lead teachers in preparing lesson materials aligned with curriculum standards, including lesson planning for diverse subjects such as literacy education, math, and early childhood education. Support classroom management by implementing behavior management strategies and maintaining a respectful, safe environment conducive to learning. Work closely with students to provide individualized support, especially those with special education needs or disabilities, including working with children with autism or other developmental challenges. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development and social-emotional skills. Support literacy and numeracy development through targeted activities and one-on-one or small group instruction. Collaborate with teachers to develop curriculum adaptations that meet the needs of all students and ensure inclusive classroom experiences. Experience Prior classroom experience working with children in educational settings such as daycare, preschool, private schools, or early childhood programs. Knowledge of childhood development principles and effective classroom management techniques. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs, including familiarity with behavior management strategies and working with children on the autism spectrum. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and students. Background in lesson planning, curriculum development, and literacy education is highly desirable. Experience in working with diverse age groups such as toddlers through elementary school students is preferred.
