Responsibilities Develop and teach face to face and online courses in the Education in elementary schools curriculum with a special emphasis on these courses: teaching second language learners, applied linguistics, applied linguistics, language principles, and language arts in elementary school; Work with colleagues on campus, and from the Anne Spencer Dave's College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences, to support students and assist with program coordination; Provide high quality instruction, career advising/mentorship, and internship oversight to students; and Be an engaged faculty member fostering relationships with local schools and education partners. Opportunities are available to engage in research and oversee student projects, though not specifically required for this teaching faculty position Qualifications PhD or Professional Doctorate degree in Education from an accredited institution with at least 2 years teaching experience at the university level.
