Summary:
We are seeking individuals from diverse professional backgrounds who are passionate about education, equity, and supporting neurodiverse learners. Ideal candidates are adaptable, mission-driven, and eager to build a meaningful career in teaching. Fellows develop expertise through hands-on, classroom-based coaching in areas such as augmentive and alternative communication (AAC), social-emotional learning, behavior support, trauma-informed practice, differentiated instruction, and transition-to-workforce skills. Training emphasizes real-time application, mentorship, and continuous improvement. Education Bachelor's Degree required. About Woods System of Care Schools WSOC Schools are leading innovative K-12 models designed for students with autism, low-incidence disabilities, and behavioral/emotional regulation needs. Our approach is individualized, data-driven, and grounded in evidence-based practices, including Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), and multidisciplinary team collaboration. Students benefit from small class sizes, integrated therapeutic supports, and a focus on communication, independence, and real-world readiness.
